5-acre urban farm growing certified organic vegetables.
– Must be a current resident of Canada or hold a valid work permit for Canada
– Responsibilities include performing various tasks related to cultivating mixed vegetables in nursery, greenhouses, tunnels, and fields on a certified organic farm. Tasks may also involve urban farm chores.
– The work involves physical labor, with occasional lifting of up to 55 lbs. Candidates should be flexible and able to carry out activities such as hand transplanting seedlings and harvesting crops.
– Although we have indicated position starts in more than 4 weeks, there may be opportunity to work part-time in the meantime.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Internship, Apprenticeship
Salary: $15.30-$17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
