Family run grain farm
We are a family run farm growing wheat, oats, corn, soybeans and dry beans. We are looking for year round or seasonal help. Seasonal would be from April 1 through approx November. We are looking for an individual to help with the day to day activities on the farm. These would include, but not be limited to:
- maintaining and repairing equipment.
- operating equipment
- light construction projects and yard maintenance.
- spray tendering and/or application
Requirements:
- -valid class 5
- -work long days and Saturdays during spring and fall.
- -physically capable of climbing ladders, cleaning bins, carrying seed bags etc.
- -work in cold, hot, rain, both indoors and outdoors
- -sitting in equipment for extended periods.
Starting wages, hours, seasonal or full time opportunity, as well as starting date are all negotiable depending on skills, experience and willingness to take on responsibility.
