Organic Fertilizer Salesperson – Greenhouse Farming and Agriculture

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Organic Fertilizer Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in greenhouse farming, gardening, or agriculture, and will be skilled in sales and customer service. This position will require visits to greenhouse farming locations as needed.

Responsibilities:

•            Promote and sell our organic fertilizers to greenhouse farmers, gardeners, and agricultural businesses

•            Develop and maintain relationships with customers to increase sales and promote customer loyalty

•            Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and providing guidance on the use of our products

•            Visit greenhouse framing locations as required to introduce our products and promote sales

•            Develop new customer base through networking and sales efforts

•            Have in-depth knowledge of farming practices to best understand customer needs and tailor products accordingly

•            Attend industry events and conferences to promote our brand and products

•            Stay up to date with industry trends and developments to better serve our customers and improve sales performance

•            Prepare sales reports and analyze sales data to track performance and identify opportunities for growth

Requirements:

•            High school diploma or equivalent

•            2+ years of sales experience in the greenhouse farming, gardening, or agriculture industry

•            Passion for greenhouse farming, gardening, or agriculture

•            Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•            Strong organizational and time management skills

•            Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

•            Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed, including greenhouse framing locations

•            In-depth knowledge of farming practices and industry trends

Preferred:

•            Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field

•            Knowledge of organic farming practices and soil science
